    MFG Spreads has stopped

    Shall I charge MFG interest on their borrowings when they are denying me use of my own money? I think this is not a just behaviour from them...

    I have funds frozen with MFG as well seior, but no open positions otherwise it would have been catastrophique!!!I was checking how to get my money back as well and i found in some forum that this X man phoned up FSA and FSCS and they were of help to him, so I spoke to the FSA on the beginning of this week and both they and the FSCS (financial services compensation scheme) both indicated that all my money (including fully liquidated trading profits + deposit) would be covered if there is an issue in tracing and properly allocating the funds from MFG themselves. Obviously there is a considerable mess and confusion about how exactly MF used client funds and as we are all aware there appears to be an unanswered $600 million. But, even with all that, for UK clients at least the FSCS should cover any claims if there is still a shortfall after all the mess has been sorted out. Are you a UK citizen???

    Hi people;

    I read in the Financial Times last week that KPMG, which is administering the London-based operations of MF Global will announce on Monday that clients would be able to submit claims from December 8. That is likely to lead to an early return of some funds to some market participants such as spread betting companies.
