Direct access trading is a technology which allows stock traders to trade directly with market makers or specialists, rather than trading through stock brokers

Direct Access trading is a good investment for day traders and scalpers. Direct access brokers can give day traders and scalpers front-end trading software and platforms and offer deep discounts on commissions and brokerage fees, but the disadvantage is that a slow execution may occur losses, traders need fast execution when scalping

The reduced spreads from direct access trading will have a marked effect on profitability on day-trading, but less on longer time-frames. There is no 'handholding', your Direct Access trading broker will anticipate you to know what you are doing and take no responsibility for anything that is going wrong with your positions. If you're new and considering this sort of trading, i would not recammand it for you. I would suggest you start with a Spread Betting account

True that, Direct Access Trading is not for novice traders, you should be experienced for you to consider this tool of investment

First of all, it's called Direct Market Access or DMA.
Secondly, you can only have DMA with CFD broker and unfortunately, not many of them offer DMA. IG Markets would be the obvious choice but there're others.
