    Hey;

    I wouldn't buy it now because its not like Google going public before it being a giant, getting in at the ground floor and seeing the stock shoot up in perpetuity.

    Facebook stock is being offered already after its been a giant and in my opinion the only place it can go is down. I would suggest you go short on the stock after the IPO!!!

    you need to put in mind that facebook might be just as big as Google. The Google ipo was $85 and the all time high was $747. Be able to buy at least 100 shares and never invest money that you can't afford to lose. There is a lot of room for growth in FB believe it or not. There is no FB in China so if it ever goes there..let's just say that I'd want to already be on that freight train by that time.

    A large number of Facebook employees own shares and are likely to become very wealthy when the company floats. Facebook itself admits that it may struggle to motivate or retain such staff. Facebook HQ might be a fun place to work, but does it beat life as a playboy?

    I don't think that is a good thing for you to consider buying these shares!!! Well not just now anyway!!!

    Good article Queen.
    Unfortunately, I think many retail traders and investors will burn themselves there whereas private and rich investors will make a killing there... once again.

    Remember what happened to Ocado? So much hype, now all the right people made their money so shares are trading considerably lower than IPO price.

    Facebook is No Where near Google, If you want to Invest in Facebook think carefully and look at AOL,Friendster ,Hi5.
    While i got to say the number is impressive on Facebook, but if you look beyond the number is really a self feeding platform with little demand or growth.
    in a few years time it will burn out. The Question is When ?

    The Dot com Era where player get a a huge return is more or less over in my view, Facebook is just hype that is over rated and the market ride on it number, i smell more risk then gain here. you be better off buying Gold and sit on it.
